This is the second song of the new Winter Semester. The Song-CAMP Kids decided to write to the 4-year old grandaughter of Mr. Walt and Miss Mary's friends Lisa and Vincent Walsh. Vincent is one of Walt's favorite singer-songwriter pianist/guitarist friends. Tayler's Song was written, performed and recorded during the afternoon of February 10th, 2009 by the Song-CAMP Kids.

The audio begins with Walt's in-home recording of Vincent Walsh's "Raglin Road" - recorded in the Winter of 2008 when Tayler was age 3. Little Miss Tayler had come down stairs near the end of the recording ... and Walt candidly recorded a conversation between Tayler and her grandfather Vincent.

Tayler's Story - from her Caring Bridge Website at Denver Children's Hopsital:

"Tayler is recovering from her two December surgeries on a cancerous brain tumor. She receives radiation and chemotherapy treatment at Children's. She had a dangerous reaction to her first bout of treatment, but now has been able to tolerate the chemotherapy. The treatment is very aggressive because the type of tumor is so aggressive. Tayler will be hit hard by all of the medication and radiation, but this is what will give her the best shot at a cure.

The prognosis for a Glioblastoma tumor are not pleasant. With a positive note from the doctor that a complete removal of the tumor probably doubled her chances, she is still looking at a 20% survival rate. The doctor advised that the rate for adult's with the same tumor is less than 2%.
Please help us visualize Tayler’s return to complete health."

CHORUS:
There once was a little girl who
Had a voice so sweet -

A Princess so neat.

Tayler, you are spice -
Tayler, you are everything,
Everything that's nice!

VERSE:
Don't be so scared,
Angels are there.
God walks with you and
Always will care.
Don't be so scared,
Angels are there.
God walks with you and
Always will care!
